Mort organised a boaters banter for the end of the year. The fact it was the day after her birthday and she got lots of presents and attention was just coincidence. All the people who turned up filled the boat inn at Thrupp. Ryan and Verity made everyone feel welcome. The beer flowed along with the conversation. It was a lovey evening and everyone had a great night. It always nice to catch up with fellow narrow boaters and swap stories. I staggered out with a pleasant feeling. I have to thank Maggie for driving, making possible for Mike and Vanessa to come as well.
